Claudio Ibe.

software engineer · four years · open to work

I build web applications and I look after the people using them. Years of doing support next to development is why I care so much about interfaces being accessible, fast and legible.

I'm between roles right now and open to work, front-end or full-stack, remote or Lagos-based. I want a team that budgets for accessibility and performance while the thing is being built, instead of a cleanup pass at the end.

Most recently I was an AI Driven Learning Analyst at Alpha School through Crossover, turning AI-generated student performance data into interventions that landed within 48 hours and building the dashboards and automations behind them. The network saw up to 2× learning speed. Before that, four years at Ziddex as a support engineer. I was the person clients reached when something broke and the one who fixed it, building in React, Angular and Vue, and I owned accessibility, SEO and localization.

I started at Sunbelt Technologies in 2019 writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and earned my B.Tech in Software Engineeringfrom FUTO in 2024 while working full time. If you're hiring, the fastest way to reach me is email.

Worked through Crossover on the analytics side of a distributed learning network. I read AI-generated student performance data and turned it into interventions that landed within 48 hours, built the dashboards tracking engagement and accuracy, and ran the real-time rescue calls when a student stalled. A lot of the job was telling a genuine knowledge gap apart from a simple execution error. I also designed the AI-powered workflows that sped up diagnostics, and helped evaluate which educational tools and tutors were earning their place. Across the network, learning speed rose up to .

Four years as the person clients reached when their site broke. I handled support directly and fixed what I found, so diagnosis and repair sat with the same person. What I learned went back into the internal knowledge base, and I mentored the junior developers behind me.

The building half was React, Angular and Vue, working with designers, product managers and back-end developers to turn requirements into interfaces that hold up. I owned accessibility, SEO and localization across that work, holding it to WCAG and Lighthouse standards so it worked for audiences in different places and on different hardware.

Where I started. Built and maintained web applications in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, keeping the experience consistent across browsers and devices. Worked with senior developers on new features, bug fixes and performance, and learned code review and Git properly, organizing and documenting code so the next person could follow it.

Open source.
A year in commits.

My GitHubactivity over the past year. It's a rough snapshot of the side projects, open source PRs and weekend tinkering that don't really fit anywhere else.

Active theme: bosco, dark mode.
